PRAYER FOR ERADICATION OF POVERTY
TEXT: PSALM 72:12-14
“For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.” (NIV)
Calvary greeting in Jesus' name.
1. We exalt You, oh Father, whose loving kindness surpasses all understanding, and whose thoughts for us are immeasurable.
Nigeria, after crossing the Red Sea:
2. May the Almighty God give you envisioned leaders that will lift your citizens out of poverty of all types, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
3. May your God take away the heart of stone (corruption) from your leaders and give them the heart of flesh (compassion) for the poor, in Jesus’ name.
4. Closing: Dependable Father, I give You praise, for Nigeria's story will end in glory and praise.
