100-DAY CHALLENGE - LET US BLESS NIGERIA
THEME: NIGERIA SHALL RISE AGAIN
PRAYER FOR NIGERIAN STATE GOVERNORS
TEXT: 1 TIMOTHY 2:1-4
“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth." (NIV).
Calvary greeting in Jesus' name.
1. Lord God Almighty, You who hold the hearts of kings in Your hands and turn them like streams of water, we bow before Your sovereignty. Your wisdom is beyond comprehension, and Your power knows no limits. We worship You, the One who shapes destinies and aligns hearts to Your perfect will.
Nigeria, after crossing the Red Sea:
2. The Almighty God will intervene and establish a compassionate and just governance that will ensure true development, in Jesus' name. Amen.
3. Your God, who holds the hearts of kings and princes in His hands, will turn the hearts of our state governors into compassionate hearts—hearts that will genuinely touch the lives of their citizens. In Jesus' name, Amen.
4. May your God circumcise the hearts of the state governors, remove their hearts of stone, and give them hearts of flesh, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
5. Closing: Dependable Father, I give You praise, for Nigeria's story will end in glory and praise.
