They have greatly oppressed me from my youth,
let Israel say;
they have greatly oppressed me from my youth,
but they have not gained the victory over me.
Plowmen have plowed my back
and made their furrows long.
1. Jehovah the Man of War and the Lord of hosts, we give You praise and honor for Your mercy and love over every Nigerian and this nation. You are worthy to be praised.
For Nigeria, after crossing the Red Sea:
2. Of a truth, the enemies of this great nation are many, but because it is time for a rebirth, the Lord of hosts and Jehovah the Man if war, will fight your course and deliver you from them all, in Jesus name.
3. Your God almighty will deliver you from every oppressor from within and without. They shall be stripped of their power of oppression over you, in Jesus name.
4. Your righteous God shall cut off from your neck their cord of wickedness and set you free to fulfill God's purpose to be a peaceful land and be a blessing to other nations.
5. Because you are set for deliverance at this time, God almighty shall turn your haters back in shame.
6. From this moment, God almighty will cause your haters as well as your oppressors and their sons to kiss your shoes.
7. Surely, kings will lift their voices in praise from this land, honoring the Almighty.
8. Closing: Dependable Father, I give You praise, for Nigeria's story will end in glory and praise.
