| IN NIGERIA, PEACE BE STILL |
THEME: NIGERIA SHALL RISE AGAIN
TEXT: MATTHEW 14: 30-32
"But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
1. Jehovah, the Man of Prince of Peace, we adore and praise Your holy name, because where You are peace and tranquility reign.
For Nigeria, after crossing the Red Sea:
2. Your God will save, for He is the same Lord who saved Peter when the winds were boisterous; Nigeria shall not sink, just as Peter's boat did not sink.
3. Your God will save you because, like Peter calling upon Him amidst the boisterous winds, Nigerians are calling upon His name.
4. Almighty God will stretch forth His powerful right hand, and all your adversaries—nobles, untouchables, oppressors, aristocrats, and even the most stubborn pursuers (like Pharaoh)—shall be defeated.
5. There shall be peace in your domain—from North to South, East to West—because the Prince of Peace Himself has spoken to you.
6. Surely, kings will lift their voices in praise from this land, honoring the Almighty.
7. Closing: Dependable Father, I give You praise, for Nigeria's story will end in glory and praise.
