TEXT: ISAIAH 49: 13-16
13 Shout
for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For
the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.
14 But
Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me.”
15 “Can
a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she
has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!
16 See,
I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
1. Blessed Redeemer, who led an entire nation from the land of bondage to a land flowing with milk and honey, You are the Lord God with the largest mobile kitchen and dining table. You own the largest mobile shoe factory and the grandest garment-making factory. Lord God Almighty, who daily provided for the nation of Israel, I give You praise and honor.
For Nigeria, after crossing the Red Sea:
2. The Lord God Almighty, who heard the cries of Israel and delivered them from the land of bondage, has heard your cries and has come to deliver you. Your God has not forgotten you, nor has He forsaken you.
3. Your Almighty God, who formed you in your mother's womb, has come to deliver you so that you may fulfill your destiny in this end time. Through you, other nations shall be set free.
4. Your God, who has engraved you on the palm of His hand, has you always before Him, and you will surely fulfill His purpose for your existence.
5. Your God has come to do the unimaginable, such that every ear that hears of it will tingle. Be ready for this good news.
6. God has come to deliver you, and there shall be shouts of joy throughout your borders.
7. Surely, kings will lift their voices in praise from this land, honoring the Almighty.
8. Closing: Dependable Father, I give You praise, for Nigeria's story will end in glory and praise.
