PRAYER FOR NIGERIA PROJECT (2ND EDITION)
THEME: TIME TO BREAK YOKES OF VASSALITY OVER NIGERIA
ESSENCE OF PROPHECY
TEXTS: AMOS 3:7, JEREMIAH 50:2, HOSEA 12:13
INTRODUCTION
Calvary greetings to all our partners who believe in Prayer for Nigeria Project (2nd Edition).
I am very convinced that you will not loose your rewards and you will be the first partakers of your travail, in Jesus name.
I am led to do a little explanation about God's plans for Nigeria, which have been substantiated by prophecies at sundry times. I am actually talking about prophecies from the throne of grace and not fake prophecies from the pit of hell.
Basically, Prophecy is to proclaim a message from God. It is as simple as that and this act of benevolence helped kings and individuals in Bible time. So, ours will not be different.
God also extended this act of benevolence to His Church, hence, office of the prophet was established in Ephesians 4:11-12.
As mere mortals, our understanding or knowledge of the future is abysmally limited, therefore, we surely need God's guidance at all times.
With this said, I will want us to consider some prophecies about the New Nigeria:
(a) "a time will come when the Nigerian government would be paying her Youths to preach the gospel in all nooks and crannies of the nation" - Prophecy by Pa Sydney Elton.
Prophecy fulfilled - Establishment of NYSC.
(b) the Benue Valley would be God's trigger in the last lap revival fire that will engulf Nigeria and beyond.

Prophecy fulfilled - emergence of Apostles Osayi Arome and Michael Orokpo etc.
(c) “Nigeria and Nigerians will be known all over the world for corruption. Your name – Nigeria will stink for corruption but after a while, a new phase will come – a phase of righteousness. People from the nations of the earth will hold a Nigerian and say, ”
"We want to follow you to your nation to go and learn righteousness."
Is this prophecy fulfilled? - I think it is 99% fulfilled.
Nigeria's present situation is ridiculously pitiable...
We are all witnesses to how dense the stench of our misbehavior is, which is not found anywhere in the world.
That is why the Seeds of God (Christians) must arise to ensure that a righteous nation emerges urgently - New Nigeria.
It is no doubt a tedious exercise or responsibility, but remember that He has given us the grace (Gal 4:19).
Please, let us say these 'short' prayers.
PRAYERS
(1) Father, I give You praise and honor for Your plans and purposes for Nigeria.
(2) Father, I give You praise for the prophecies about Nigeria - those that have come to pass and those that are yet to be fulfilled.
(3) Lord God almighty with whom all things are possible, please do the impossible in our country, Nigeria, in Jesus name.
(4) By Your mercy, please intervene in the matter of Nigeria and ensure urgent fulfillment of your prophecies about Nigeria.
(5) Father, by Your mercy, our travail shall end in praise.
CONCLUSION
- From the depth of my heart, I thank every partner who keyed into this project. You will not loose your rewards, in Jesus name.
