PRAYER FOR NIGERIA PROJECT (2ND EDITION)
THEME: TIME TO BREAK YOKES OF VASSALITY OVER NIGERIA
TOPIC: NIGERIA, ARISE AND SHINE - THE GLORY OF GOD IS RISEN UPON YOU*
TEXT: ISAIAH 60
INTRODUCTION
Calvary greetings from the Throne of grace to every member of the Prayer for Nigeria Project (2nd Edition).
In all truth, I am fulfilled that I listened to the Spirit of the living God, Who patiently waited for me to conduct this edition, after nudging me for over six (months). God is indeed a merciful God!
As we are rounding up this edition, I will request that we in one, spirit, mind and accord, command or speak this scripture into the life of Nigeria - "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you"
Indeed 'time and season' happen to everything on earth - there is time to be born and there is time to die. There was a time the bad crept into Nigeria and the time for a New Nigeria to emerge is now.
Is it possible to actually have a new Nigeria?
With faith in God who had spoken in sundry times about New Nigeria and His children doing the needful, a New Nigeria is not only possible, but it is manifesting NOW.
In addition, if there were New Orleans, New Zealand, New Guinea and we His seeds believe in New Jerusalem, of course, our God is able to create a New Nigeria and by His grace, the new nation that will fulfill God's destiny is here, in Jesus name.
In my personal expectations, I want new nation where righteousness and holiness will reign; a new nation shinning in the Light of Jesus; a new nation where there is equity and respect for humanity; a new nation with envisioned leaders; a new nation with empathic leaders.
Actually, the list of my expectations is long and for us to have a robust national habitat, please add your expectations to the above.
Remember, it is written, with God all things are possible - Lk 1:37.
PRAYERS
1. Holy Father, I worship and adore You because You have taken us thus far. It can only be You and take all the glory and honor.
2. Holy Father who loathes unrighteousness and loves holiness, have mercy upon my soul. Wash me clean with the blood and make my sacrifice acceptable, in Jesus name.
3. Father, from this moment, please let Your Light shine into every nook and cranny of Nigeria according to Your word and prophecies, in Jesus name.
4. Father, by Your mercy, from this moment, let Your glory and Light dispel darkness in every area of our existence, in Jesus name (Is 60:2).
Please, dispel darkness:
- among the Executives
- among the National Assembly
- among the judiciary
- in education
- in the Armed Forces - Defence - Army, Air Force and Navy
- etc
6. Father, as Your Light shines and gives us a New Nigeria, let there be the emergence of Nehemiahs of our time, who will:
- be empathic
- show leadership skills
- be visionary
- be prayerful
- be strategic
- be compassionate
- men or women of integrity
- be servant leaders.
7. Father, as Your glory and Light take over Nigeria, circumcise the hearts of any Nebuchadnezzar in power and give them the heart of flesh, in Jesus name (Ez 36:26).
8. Father, let Your Light and glory transform the hearts, paradigm of our leaders. Help them to be the King Uzziah of our time (2nd Chronicles 26)
- they will seek You (vs 26:5).
- You will prosper them intellectually and our New Nigeria.
- You will strengthen them and make Nigeria's fame grow.
- they shall be men and women of innovations like King Uzziah who made news in usual innovations (26:15).
- and in agricultural advancements (2nd Chronicles 26).
9. Father, in the New Nigeria, there shall be a resounding peace all over the nation; a nation where:
- lion and sheep shall live together (Is 11:6-7).
- suckling child will play on the hole of asp.
- weaned child shall put her hand inside the hole of cockatrice den.
9. Father, the New Nigeria shall fulfill end-time destiny and prophecies. We shall be a holy nation that will preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, in Jesus name.
10. Father, the New Nigeria shall be a space where all dry bones shall rise again - Your Spirit shall on be her and she shall be a great Army, in Jesus name.
10. Dear partners, there are avalanche of expectations from God and as led by God, please add yours to the list. Surely, there shall be testimonies, in Jesus name.
11. Father, I pray for all the Prayer for Nigeria Project partners:
- they will be the first partakers of Your intervention (2nd Tim 2:6).
- You will crown their year with Your goodness, in Jesus name (Ps 65:11-13).
CONCLUSION
- From the depth of my heart, I thank every partner who keyed into this project. You will not loose your rewards, in Jesus name.
