Day 4: 4th August, 2022

Texts: Ecclesiastes 4:12, Deut 32:30, Matthew 18:19-20, John 17:21

Prayer focus: Let’s be united to win this battle

Greetings in Jesus name.

Once again, I give praise to the Possessor of heavens and the earth; the Owner of the entire universe, including Nigeria.

I sincerely appreciate our partners who have been faithful to this project.

By His grace, you’ll not lose your rewards, in Jesus name.

We have been able to build a strong foundation for this project in the last 3 days, as we’re advancing into a critical level of the assignment.

To achieve the desired victory (absolute victory), we need to be firmly united in thoughts and beliefs.

This explanation is important because we’re from different Christian backgrounds. As an individual, I’m very careful not to condemn or relegate any Christian sect. I see us as one body, be it Protestant, Catholic, Evangelical, Pentecostal etc.

The standard is – believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of mankind, who died, was buried, rose from the dead after the 3rd day, ascended to heaven and will be coming back as ‘the soon coming King’. Please, note that this doesn’t give room to hiding under grace to sin.

I need to explain this point because of our different beliefs in doctrines, which are numerous to mention here.

Friends and families, please let us lay aside, what separates us and congregate to battle with total victory as our focus.

I remember those days in Lagos, when any Christian from a different denomination from mine, prayed inside danfo, for example, I wouldn’t say amen. What an ignorance? Lord, have mercy.

Prayers points

(1)    Father, please forgive me in anyway I’ve tried to condemn any Church Jesus Christ died for

(I learnt that when Pa Elton was alive, he impacted the Christian youths immensely and he warned them never ever to behave in any manner that with ‘scatter’ a ‘Church’ Jesus Christ died for (Ref: Rev Monday Iyere)

(2) Father, help me to understand what ‘unity in the body of Christ’ means – 1st Corinthians 3:4-6

(3) Father, please help me to love my fellow brethren

(4) Father, please give me the grace to be a functional and faithful partner in this project.

(5) Father, I pray that you will strengthen every partner located anywhere in the world.

I pray that God almighty will give us deep meaning of the scripture and relevant prayer points, in Jesus name.

By His grace, we’ll be moving into the battle arena after this preamble.

By His grace, there shall NOT be any casualties on our side but on the side of the enemies of Nigeria, in Jesus name.

Note:
