TOPIC: SEED OF
SONS OF GOD VS GOD’S SEED (I)
Read: Genesis 6: 1-4; 15: 5, 22: 17, 1 Corinthians 2: 9
Calvary greetings to
all the Brethren in the house.
Are you aware that God
Almighty indeed knows the thoughts He has towards us His children? His thoughts
are not of evil, but of peace to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29: 11).
In Genesis 6: 1-4, the
Bible records that the sons of God which some scholars refer to as fallen
angels introduced a corrupt seed in the fair daughters of men and produced
‘half-castes’ who ‘’became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.’’
(Genesis 6: 4).
If these fallen angels
could produce giants and men of great achievements through their corrupt seed,
what do you expect the seed of God in us to produce? In 1st John 3:9 the
Bible says that God’s seed of holiness is in us and this is expected to produce
holiness.
In addition, God’s
seed in us contains miracle working traits and exploits; traits of unimaginable
achievements as mentioned in 1st Corinthians 2: 9 but most times,
God does not force His vision or idea on us rather introduces His plan or
vision to us and expects the individual to show interest for them to work
together in achieving His mega-vision.
In Genesis 15: 5, God
took Abraham outside to show him how much He was going to bless him in all
nations; as many as the stars in the sky. Verse 6 was Abraham’s response to
God’s mega-vision.
Brethren, are there
times, some ‘crazy or funny ideas’ crossed your mind? What was your response?
Did you bind and cast out the devil? Abraham knew it was God Who wanted to
immortalize his name so he keyed into God’s plan.
Be sensitive and learn
to walk with God whose plan is for all to be blessed beyond measure. Switch on
your ‘Fourth Dimension.’
Peace!!!
Jesus is coming back
again. Are you ready?
