NO INCONVENIENT JESTING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD (I)

Read Romans 14: 17, Ephesians 5: 1 - 7, 16

Brethren, Calvary greetings in Jesus name.

A few days ago, I was discussing with one of the senior ministers of my movement and he made mention of a current crave for ‘jokes’ in the Church of Christ in these last days.

These comedians make silly jokes on almost everything about God. They bring Men of God to the courtyard of beer parlor to joke about. They joke about activities in the church. They joke about MoG’s marriages, shoes, cars etc and some of us will open our ‘32’, clap our filthy hands and raise up our legs in unholy admiration of these abominations.

I am not condemning anyone but only educating and warning anyone and everyone who is playing church under the dispensation of grace that they are playing with ‘grace of double jeopardy.’

In the words of Witness KenPaul Obieke who ministered in our local assembly on 18th January 2013, he described abuse of grace in a manner that sent shock through me. I can never forget his explanation.

He said, ‘’Grace is a long rope that hangs those who abuse it if taken for granted.’’ He further said that grace does not get angry, so you can abuse it as long as you want. But remember that you will stand before the Ultimate Judge on the last day to defend your actions and reactions under the dispensation of grace. At that time, I am not sure if you can get any counselor to appeal your case.

Reading from Ephesian 5:16, the Bible enjoins Christians to redeem the time. If you are actually mindful of the time we are in, will a serious Christian have time for silly activities.

God is looking for who will storm the heavens for solutions to myriad of challenges in Nigeria most especially when the nation seems to be drifting to fulfilling the demonic prophecy of 2015. God forbid.

A true gathering of children of God is expecting to bring sobriety and freedom in the Holy Spirit. Where do you stand?

Do not laugh your way hell!!!

Jesus is coming back again. Are you ready for Him?
