TOPIC: DADDY & MUMMY, TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILDREN (VII)

Read: Proverbs 31: 1-9, Ecc 12, Gal 4: 19.
Calvary greetings.

Parenthood is not only a serious business, but a very hard and tedious but rewarding business. If in doubt read the description of the woman (mother) mentioned in Proverbs 31.

1. Prayer. Pray for them at all times. When they wake up and when they sleep. Ensure you lay your hands on them and decree God’s blessings on them daily otherwise, Satan will lay hands on them for you.

2. Fast on their behalf. Yes, deny yourself of some comfort to save them.

3. Bless them and NEVER curse them. If you curse them, you will work hard to CANCEL the curse in the future, because it will surely work against you also.

4. Read the bible to them right from the womb and help them to study the Word.

5. Study them to understand the unique nature they are made up of.

6. Know their friends. Welcome their friends warmly. Do not send them away.

7. Guide them in all ways. The best way to train up a child is for you to live right, overtly and covertly.

8. Be their friend. Show some long-suffering. You don’t expect them to be perfect because you are not and nobody is, except God!

9. Be involved in their choice of careers. Prayerfully guide them in this area of life. Do not force your choice on them. It won’t work, but will only lead to confusion.

10. Encourage them to serve God. Not to work for God to expect a ‘wage.’

11. Help them to distinguish between God’s service and the world’s. So many world stars once sang in the choir but ended up praising the devil. I am sure you know them.

12. Teach them to love God.

13. Work (travail) on them, until Christ is formed in them - Gal 4:19.

Are you prepared for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ? He will surely come?
Peace!
